Collaboration with the Tokyo Para-Sports Association

Since 2016, NEC has been a full member of the Tokyo Sports Association for the Disabled (TSAD), marking the start of a close partnership.
NEC Group employees support association-hosted events—including the Tokyo Sports Tournament for Persons with Disabilities, Japan’s largest para sports event by number of participants—by serving as volunteer staff at competitions and related activities.

The number of employees participating as event-operation volunteers or attending para sports competitions has increased each year. In 2024, more than 100 NEC Group employees took part over the course of the year. Through hands-on volunteering and spectating at para sports events, employees also gain valuable opportunities to deepen their understanding of disabilities and inclusion.
