Introduction of NEC’s AI-Based Landmine Detection Technology in “Application of Emerging Technologies” (Public Policy Video and Working Paper)
From December 1 to 5, 2025, the 22nd Meeting of the States Parties to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (Ottawa Convention) was held in Geneva, Switzerland. During the conference, one of the Chair’s (Japan’s) priority themes—“Application of Advanced and Emerging Technologies in Mine Action” was presented.
NEC’s AI-based technology for detecting buried landmines was featured in both the official public policy video and the working paper.
