L2 cache settings

Binding, unbinding, and settings change of L2 cache can be done by using configuration settings of iSM client or iSMCLI (iSMcfg command). Settings change includes enabling/disabling L2 cache in the whole disk array, change of name, and enabling/disabling L2 cache/persistent write on a logical disk basis.

L2 cache information display

Information on L2 cache configuration settings is displayed on the iSM client main window or by using iSMCLI (iSMcfg command).

L2 cache performance analysis

L2 cache effectiveness and how it is used can be analyzed by PerformanceMonitor or PerformanceNavigator.
