Functions

Upper limit control

When an upper limit of I/O is set to a logical disk, I/O to and from the logical disk is controlled up to the limit. This will reduce impact of large amount of I/O to and from a certain logical disk affecting performance of other logical disks in the same pool.
It's possible to set an upper limit of I/O for a logical disk automatically by setting the pool performance and setting the ranking of an operation basis (a logical disk basis).

Lower limit control

When a lower limit of I/O is set to a logical disk, the amount of I/O to and from the disk is controlled not to be lower than the limit. This will maintain I/O of logical disks with an I/O lower limit.
