The NEC's O-band WDM filter functions as a MUX/DEMUX in the WDM system using a 100G QSFP28 ER1-30 nWDM transceiver, utilizing its role in wavelength division multiplexing. This filter operates with eight 400GHz channels and is a passive product, eliminating the need for power. Its key features include simplicity and reliability. Additionally, we offer a rack-mountable chassis for easy installation and setup of this filter.

  • A 100G QSFP28 ER1-30 passive WDM filter for use in the 400GHz range.
  • This filter operates on the O-band with a channel configuration of 8CH, specifically at the wavelengths of 1295.56, 1297.80, 1300.05, 1302.31, 1304.58, 1306.85, 1309.14, and 1311.43 nm.
  • The maximum insertion loss (End to End)* < 4dB
       * including the use of MUX and DEMUX and connector loss.

  • A rack-mounted chassis for WDM filter is available, which can accommodate up to 8 slots of WDM filters in a 1 RU size with LC/UPC connectors.
