Senior Standardization Professional Toru Yamada Receives Accomplishment Award from the ITU Association of Japan

On May 16, at the Celebration of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day event hosted by the ITU Association of Japan, Dr. Toru Yamada, Senior Standardization Professional in the Intellectual Property Management and Rule Making/Standardization Division, was awarded an ITU Association of Japan Accomplishment Award.

He received the award in recognition for his significant contributions in the field of smart cities, particularly through his service as Vice-Chairman of the International Telecommunication Union Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) and Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT).
