NEC’s Managing Director of the Intellectual Property Management and Rule Making/Standardization Division Meets with ETSI Leadership to Exchange Views on ICT Standards
On May 12, at NEC’s headquarters, Mr. Fumio Imoto, Managing Director of the Intellectual Property Management and Rule Making/Standardization Division, and Mr. Yasunori Mochizuki, Managing Director of the R&D Division, welcomed senior representatives from the European Telecommuncations Standards Institute (ETSI), a leading standardization organization in Europe's ICT sector.
The two sides engaged in a lively exchange of opinions on topics such as standardization in telecommunications, AI, and data, as well as their relationship with European regulations and the future outlook for the field.
As part of its efforts to expand business opportunities, NEC promotes international collaboration in standardization activities to help drive the adoption of advanced technologies and enhance their societal acceptance.
