24th JIPA IP Symposium held on February 12th – Corporate Senior Vice President Wada Service as Panel Discussion Coordinator

The 24th JIPA IP Symposium, hosted by the Japan Intellectual Property Association (JIPA), where Corporate Senior Vice President (SVP) Wada serves as a vice chairperson, was held on February 12th at Pacifico Yokohama.  

At the symposium, Corporate SVP Wada served as the coordinator for a panel discussion titled "Creating an Intellectual Property Ecosystem that Drives Innovation ." Recognizing the growing importance and diversifying applications of intellectual property in the context of fostering partnerships and ecosystems, the panelists exchanged views on how to foster innovation that utilizes Japan's unique strengths and discussed the role of IP departments from a management perspective, practical applications, types of talent essential to the industry, and approaches to talent development.
