What is required for transport in 5G era?
Significant architecture changes may not be required for Transport Network unlike the RAN where massive evolution is required.
However, as a variety of people and things are being connected including IOT devices, and traffic demands are becoming diversified, the required function of Transport network is also diversified and much higher network performance than 4G is required in all aspects.

In this use case, NEC realizes network migration scenario with simplification of the network by using WDM Filter and SFP type module, and minimizing the number of nodes. This also enables capabilities to easily increase the bandwidth in future.
