Policies and Related Themes for Addressing Various AI Risks

NEC incorporates AI governance into internal control systems, and under the direction of the Risk Control and Compliance Committee overseen by the Board of Directors, the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), responsible for executing AI governance, leads initiatives.
Within this framework, staff divisions (second line) are responsible for risk management—such as legal affairs, risk and compliance, human rights, personal information and privacy, quality control, and security—collaborate with business divisions (first line) that handle products and services.
