The Remote LD movement function can move the logical disk(LD)s which is being used on the NEC Storage disk array unit to different disk array unit while continuing business.

New disk array unit is established by on-line.
When the disk array unit which is being used reached capacity limit or the performance limit, it's to establish another disk array unit, move the used LD to established disk array unit and change paths automatically, and it's possible to expand capacity and level a load while continuing business.
A part of disk array unit is removed by on-line.
During using more than one disk array unit, when a part of disk array unit became unnecessary, it's possible while continuing business to remove disk array unit by moving an LD to using disk array unit and changing paths automatically.
