The Non-disruptive Data Migration function can copy data of an existing disk array unit to a new disk array unit by each unit of logical disk(LD)s, without stopping application servers.

Alternation of generations by on-line is achieved without setting change in the applications by making the application server recognizes the LDs at the source and the destination virtually as the same LDs.
To do the data migration by the storage function, there are no loads of the application server with the data migration, and performance influence of business is reduced.
