Inter-Agency Collaboration
In any city, state or country, there are usually a multitude of different agencies tasked to ensure safety and security. Most of the time, these agencies work separately and over time form unhealthy silos. However, in the face of major homeland security threats, governments need to ensure that these different agencies are able to combine information and resources, so as to be better prepared for incidents.
Homeland security requires inputs from all arms of government, which are privy to different sets of data. NEC provides the means for different agencies to collaborate, and thus enables governments, whether at the municipal, state or federal level, to ensure security of their citizens at all times.
