Mobile Backhaul for Small cell

Mobile Backhaul for Small Cell

Robust backhaul network also plays an important role in LTE Small Cell network in order to secure its rich mobile communication. To achieve such demands, NEC's Small Cell eNodeB solution is flexibly adaptable to any backhaul technologies - Packet microwave, Carrier Ether and Fiber / GPON.

However, when establishing a wired backhaul network, it usually requires significant time and resource to perform necessary civil work and also to get approval to dig and implement wires though the area. Therefore, among the available  backhaul options, NEC strongly recommends our customers with all-outdoor radio solution (AOR), which provides the all-outdoor, all-in-one design of Pasolink Packet Microwave backhaul node(s) to interwork with  All-in-one Small Cell eNodeB. They are both easily implemented outdoor to simple installation and fast rollout of end-end network.

AOR is especially important  for All-in-one Small Cell eNodeB deployment where each of the eNodeBs is installed with site-independency. For example, when All-in-one eNodeBs are easily installed on city light poles, why don't we have our backhaul also flexibly installed to be ready for operation? AOR enables thoroughly compact all-outdoor deployment of Pasolink and all-in-one Small Cell eNodeB, thus maximizes the LTE Small Cell advantage of "fastest network launch" to our customers. Additional benefits for LTE service providers are comprehensive End-to-End QoS secured across different network segments from eNB to backhaul and EPC. Its Unified Network Management System and zero touch also adds its value by enabling significant reduction of O&M cost.
