Laser printer	MultiWriter PR-L9100C	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 75% compared with the FY 2004 model (PR-L9700C). Power consumption of 1.29 kWh in TEC value* and 0.9 W or less in sleep mode was accomplished with A3 paper-size color machine No. 1. Biomass plastics approved by the Japan BioPlastics Association (JBPA) are used in cleaning rod parts. Compared with products that use conventional plastics (ABS resin), CO₂ emissions are reduced by about 20% throughout the life cycle. *: TEC value stands for "typical electricity consumption" and means conceptual power consumption for about one week.
Model ECO-CENTER, a power-saving server for data centers	Express5800/ E110b-M	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 82% compared with Express5800/iR110a-1H. Space saving is accomplished by housing 20 servers in a 3U enclosure. The power supply unit is separated and power supply for multiple servers is centrally controlled by the "EcoPowerGateway" to allow high-efficiency operation.
MultiSync Series LCD displays	MultiSync LCD-PA231W	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 58% in ECO MODE2 compared with the FY 2010 model (LCD2490WUXi2). A liquid crystal display for professional use featuring an "auto brightness" function that automatically adjusts brightness by sensing ambient brightness and an "off mode" function that automatically switches to the power-save mode. Further energy saving is achieved by operating ECO MODE in two steps.
MultiSync Series LCD displays	MultiSync LCD-EX231W	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 71% compared with the FY 2008 model (LCD225WXM). ECO MODE features a built-in human sensor that detects the presence of people around the display, an auto brightness function in three modes detecting ambient brightness and white areas on the display screen and adjusting the brightness automatically, and various other energy-saving functions. The white LED backlight does away with the need for mercury.
Liquid crystal projectors	NP-M300X	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher A technology first in industry Technological superiority: Overwhelmingly contributes to a reduction in the environmental impact with NEC's technology	CO₂ emissions were reduced by 50% compared with the FY 2010 model (NP510). They were reduced by 71% in ECO MODE2. ECO MODE features a standby mode to reduce power consumption by lowering lamp power to 25%—a first in the industry. The system is controlled in the power-save standby mode. It also features low-power-consumption circuits. TCO certification, an international environmental standard, was won for the first time in the world as a projector.

Power consumption was reduced by 0.7 W per port by supporting a function to physically shut down unused hub ports. The series was ranked No. 1 (7 W or less) in power consumption performance among Giga routers of leading Japanese vendors.
Security appliance	Guide phone air CD9D-1A-TEL	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 70% compared with the FY 2002 model (CD7D-TEL). The main unit and sub unit are integrated to do away with the necessity for power feeding to the sub unit. It also consumes little power compared with equivalent models of other vendors.
Mobile WiMAX router	Aterm WM3500R	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 54% compared with the FY 2010 model (Aterm WM3300R). A long-life charging function is adopted, featuring unique technologies such as an automatic LED light-off function to automatically turn the power off when wireless LAN communication is not carried out longer than a preset time and stop of charging when the battery is charged to a preset suitable range.
Business PCs VersaPro Series	Type VD	Global warming: Achievement of a CO₂ emissions reduction rate of 50% or higher Feature first-in-industry technology contributing to a reduction in CO₂ emissions	The reduction rate of CO₂ emissions is 67% compared with the FY 2008 model (VK16E/D-C). Features a "desk-vacant sensor," a first in notebook PCs for corporate use. Equipped with an ECO button that allows a setting change to the power-save mode during operation and a visualization function to show power consumption. Power consumption trends can be displayed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.
Applied appliance products	New ATM model (Third-generation ATM)	Non-NEC award: Special Jury Award, Green IT Awards 2010	CO₂ emissions are reduced by about 50% compared with the FY 2006 model through the following and other energy-saving measures. The energy-saving mode is always set except when a transaction is performed. LEDs are used in backlights of the transaction screen and second display. An eco-friendly ATM, long-life parts, and recyclable materials are used for effective utilization of resources.

Business PCs Mate Series	Type MG MK26M/GF-B	Type MG MY30R/GF-B	An intelligent function upgrades the decision accuracy of "desk occupied" or "desk vacant"! The "desk-vacant sensor" reduces power consumption by 25% compared with the FY 2010 model. The ECO mode and a function for visible power consumption are also installed as standard-specification functions. Thickness is reduced by 12 mm (body) compared with the FY 2010 model even though the power supply unit is incorporated.
