To reinforce its environmental governance, NEC has expanded the applicable range of management activities both in Japan and overseas from high-environmental-impact production bases to software and service companies, as well as to independent companies within the NEC Group. Group companies are divided into three types: subsidiaries, non-listed affiliated companies, and listed affiliated companies. The management level for each type is set according to the main items of governance (see the table below).
