Solution for visually representing forest value

The height of a forest including the trees (forest height) and the ground height are calculated by stereoscopic processing of aerial photos(Note 1) and by analyzing images, to automatically estimate tree heights at various points.

Note 1: In stereoscopic processing, height information is calculated by inputting two aerial photos and creating a 3D image in the computer.

Features

  • Photos no longer need to be interpreted manually by relying on the experience of workers.
  • Forests in a large area can be analyzed at low cost by using only aerial photos.
