Note 1: Excluding defense, aerospace, and customer specified products.
Note 2: Eco-plastic
  1) Renewable plastics [Plastics containing at least 10% renewable plastic materials]
  2) Bio-plastics [Plastics using at least 75% plant-derived resin in its resin components]
  3) Plastics using non halogen and non phosphorus fire retardants (ex. Eco-polyca™)
Note 3: Total eco-plastic weight/Total housing plastic weight
Note 4: We will not set a numerical target for the amount of used products collected because this is highly dependent on market and product trends. However, we will continue to monitor the status as a management item because we need to report the amount collected in accordance with the Law for the Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources and the wide-area accreditation system.
Note 5: Zero emission refers to a final landfill disposal rate (final landfill disposal volume/total volume) of less than 0.5%.
Note 6: The following laws and regulations apply to chemical substances requiring 100% balance management.
Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law, Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (PRTR) Law, Ordinance on the Prevention of Organic Solvent Poisoning, Ordinance on the Prevention of Hazards Due to Specified Chemical Substances, Air Pollution Control Law
Note 7: Applicable substances in chlorofluorocarbon gases for coolants and halon for fire extinguishers are as follows.
Specified chlorofluorocarbon gases: CFC and its mixed coolants (R-11, R12, R-13, R-114, R-500, R-502, R-502P, and R-503)
Specified halon: Halon 1301 [However, exclude from all items to be eliminated when corresponding to critical use* (electrical rooms, boiler rooms, data centers and other fireproof equipment)], halon 1211, halon 2402
*Critical use means use in applications in which fire safety is essential, as prescribed by the Fire and Disaster Management Agency or the Halon Bank Promotion Committee.
