NEC Orchestrating Future Fund Invests in U.S.-based Digitamize, Provider of the AI Employee Platform “Supervity AI”
- Initiates discussions toward business collaboration in the field of enterprise AI utilization -Tokyo, Japan, January 28, 2026 — NEC Corporation’s ecosystem-based corporate venture capital (CVC) fund, NEC Orchestrating Future Fund (hereinafter "NOFF," Note 1), has invested in Digitamize, Inc. (hereinafter "Digitamize," Note 2), a startup that provides the AI employee platform "Supervity AI." With this investment as a starting point, NEC and Digitamize will begin discussions aimed at business collaboration in the field of enterprise AI utilization, such as business process automation and operational enhancement.
In the promotion of corporate digital transformation (DX), the use of generative AI has been rapidly advancing. In particular, "AI Employees" (AI Employee / AI Agent), which perform tasks similarly to human workers, have attracted significant attention in recent years. These technologies are expected to contribute to the streamlining of routine tasks, the rationalization of cross-organizational operations, and addressing deepening labor shortages.
At the same time, challenges remain—such as integrating generative AI with company-specific data, establishing governance, ensuring usability for end users, and securing safety. These are important factors for the full-scale introduction of AI Employees.
Digitamize provides the integrated platform "Supervity AI," which includes key functions required for actual enterprise deployment of AI Employees—such as an agent architecture that understands business processes and integrates with diverse systems, governance design for secure handling of proprietary enterprise data, orchestration technology enabling AI Employees to autonomously execute and coordinate tasks, and dashboards with transparency and explainability.
By combining the advanced capabilities of "Supervity AI" with NEC’s extensive business expertise and customer base developed across a wide range of industries—including government, finance, retail, and manufacturing—NEC and Digitamize will explore opportunities for business collaboration both in Japan and internationally.

"With the investment from NOFF, we will accelerate the adoption of ‘AI Employees’ in the Japanese market. Through this collaboration, we aim to contribute to improved enterprise productivity and the realization of sustainable workstyles by leveraging NEC’s rich domain expertise and strong customer base."
NEC Corporate SVP Shigeki Wada
