Tokyo, October 6, 2022 - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) is continuing its sponsorship of the NEC Wheelchair Singles Masters, where the world's top ranked wheelchair tennis players will compete from October 30 to November 6 in the Dutch city of Oss.

This event is held by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and determines the year's world champions in men's, women's and quad singles tennis as the culmination of the international wheelchair tennis tour, which consists of more than 150 tournaments.

Last year marked the 30th anniversary of the partnership between NEC and the ITF in wheelchair tennis, and this year marks the continuation of this long and successful relationship. By supporting various sports, including this tournament and top wheelchair tennis athlete Shingo Kunieda, NEC is contributing to the creation of inclusive and diversified environments where everyone has a chance to reach their full potential.
