Tokyo, September 25, 2015 - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) will outline its future RAN strategies, including Cloud RAN strategies and 5G vision, at RAN World from 29 to 30 September at the Pullman Cologne Hotel, Cologne, Germany.

During the event, Dr. Xinjie Yang, Manager, Global RAN Strategies, NEC Europe Ltd., will make a presentation on "NEC Small Cell Cloud-RAN Strategy," which outlines the advantages of NEC's CRAN solution. This solution offers a flexible and functional split between Digital Units (DU) and Radio Units (RU) in order to accommodate different backhaul options available to mobile network operators. He will also introduce NEC's vision for future mobile networks, their potential use cases, and key enabling technologies leading up to 2020 and beyond. Furthermore, he will speak on "NEC In-Building Small Cell LAA Strategies."
