Background

Led the development and implementation of Aadhaar, the world's largest national ID system using biometric identification technology, serving India's 1.3 billion citizens. Expanded biometric identification platforms to 40 countries globally. Recently oversaw planning, design, development, and operation of NEC's largest-scale AI supercomputer (*1), providing this infrastructure to hundreds of NEC researchers. Leveraged the AI supercomputer to empower large language models like cotomi and enhance the competitive edge of NEC's leading-edge AI technologies including world-leading face and iris recognition.
