took a trip to visit the Kansai branch of NEC.
These students had the chance to experience the latest in biometric authentication technology.
Speaking to them was Hitoshi Imaoka, an NEC Fellow,
who has been at the forefront of biometric authentication technology development for over 20 years.
As the students explored real-world uses for biometrics,
their ideas sparked future possibilities
and Imaoka found their ideas truly inspiring.

to instantly display personal details, like upcoming meetings.
This student was captivated by the sheer variety of
applications and methods
saying that biometrics could "expand the realm of human possibilities."
Biometric authentication technologies are likely to be implemented in ways that redefine what's ahead
