Overview

Our trusted technologies support mission-critical systems.

NEC is doing its part to solve the various problems facing society, including disaster prevention and infrastructure management. One example of this is remote sensing of the earth using ASNARO-2 and other satellites. Satellites equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) can be used to observe the ground surface even when there is cloud cover or at night when there is no sunlight. And by conducting AI analysis of time-series SAR imagery, changes in topography, the displacement of buildings and houses, and the extent of ground subsidence can be quantitatively identified and addressed swiftly.
