TOKYO, JAPAN and WALTHAM, MA – April 27, 2015 – NEC Corporation and NetCracker Technology have announced that Swisscom AG has successfully completed building the ICT capabilities needed to migrate its major business lines, including fixed, mobile, TV and broadband, to the NetCracker Service Fulfillment solution as part of Swisscom's ‘All IP Transformation' program. This will enable Swisscom to utilize always-on provisioning capabilities and accelerate time-to-market for new services.
Further, Swisscom will discuss with NEC and NetCracker how to address the unique challenges associated with transforming Swisscom's OSS environment to a hybrid virtual-physical model. Through in-depth workshops at NEC headquarters in Tokyo, Swisscom, NEC and NetCracker will work together on establishing future migration plans to a cloud-based architecture.
