NEC to Showcase Solutions that Empower the Smart Enterprise at Enterprise Connect 2015

Irving, Texas – March 12, 2015 – NEC Corporation of America (NEC), a leading technology integrator of advanced IT and communications solutions, today announced with NEC Corporation that it is a Platinum Sponsor at the Enterprise Connect 2015 conference, the leading conference and exposition on enterprise communications and collaboration, taking place at the Gaylord Palms in Orlando. Echoing the Empowering the Smart Enterprise theme, NEC will be demonstrating solutions that incorporate its considerable expertise and experience in IT and communications technologies. Demonstrations will include: hosted and "SDN Ready" UC&C; WebRTC and Contact Center Cloud services; business analytics integrated with other NEC solutions; and ProgrammableFlowR SDN infrastructure integrated with UC. Additionally, NEC will be demonstrating a variety of SMART industry-focused solutions, including:
- Healthcare: NEC's telecare solution set and a new readmissions tool using a tablet
- Hospitality: UC-attendant console, including the Hotel Service Optimization System (HotSOS), which enables hotels to automate and track preventive maintenance, service orders and guest requests
- Education: NEC's Collaborative Content Management Solution (CCMS), which includes a Cloud-based content management combined with collaboration capabilities to enhance and improve the educational experience for teachers and students
- Government: Cloud-hosted UC capabilities, designed for the Department of Defense and certified by the Joint Interoperability Test Command
