London, 10 October 2012 - From 16-18th October, NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) will present its latest cloud solutions and services, focusing on how carriers can make and increase revenue from cloud computing at Broadband World Forum 2012, RAI Conference Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
In addition, Manuel Gallo, director of business development, EMEA Carrier Cloud Competence Center, NEC, will discuss "Cloud Brokerage as the right strategy for monetising Carrier Cloud" during the Leadership Insight session on Wednesday 17th Oct at 12:00 (CET).
"Cloud computing is the most important sustainable revenue opportunity for carriers since voice," Manuel said. "There is a strong need for carriers and large service providers to offer real Cloud services, beyond simple virtual servers, hosted collaboration tools or hosted CRM under the name of Cloud. We need to start thinking about 'Carrier Cloud' for carriers to become strong players in the cloud computing business with unique competence and valuable assets."
NEC's demos at the event (stand D16, Hall 11) include
