The NEC’ｓ 100G QSFP-DD DCO optical transceiver is an optical transceiver that utilizes coherent technology.
NEC has been providing coherent optical transceivers to the optical transmission market for over 10 years. Leveraging the technology cultivated through years of experience, NEC has achieved a compact and low-power QSFP-DD DCO transceiver.
QSFP-DD has backward compatibility with existing form factors such as QSFP+ and QSFP28, allowing for flexible network expansion. The 100G QSFP-DD DCO, which achieves 1000km transmission (when using amplifiers) for short-range and metro network, contributes to the realization of high-capacity long-distance transmission using DWDM transmission technology.
