The Express5800/R120h-2E, a flexible dual-socket 2U rack server, offers the right balance of performance, scalability, and simplified manageability in a compact chassis. Combining the new high-performance and energy efficient Inte®l Xeon® Processor Scalable Family, large memory and storage capacity, high performance RAID controller supporting large cache memory, and agent-less management capability, the R120h-2E delivers the optimal balance of performance and features at a reasonable cost for storage-intensive workloads for enterprise and service providers.

Featuring up to two Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable Family with 26-core and 35.75 MB last level cache, 1 TB memory with 2666 MHz speed, a choice of up to 26 2.5-inch drives or up to 8 3.5-inch drives, and redundant fan and power capabilities, the R120h-2E is suitable for network attached storage and data backup servers.

With up to 80 TB of storage capacity, two integrated gigabit NICs and selectable integrated NIC technology, four PCIe Gen3 and a dedicated RAID card slot, the R120h-2E offers outstanding storage capability, flexible network connectivity for LAN and SAN, and secure data protection for internal storage.

The agent-less remote monitoring feature minimizes administrator time and effort of by allowing staff to monitor and receive server status notifications from remote sites without dedicated management software.
