ENERGY STAR® is an international voluntary labeling program led by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to improve the environment through identifying and promoting energy efficient products and practices.In addition to computers and monitors which were first to be labeled, EPA released a specification for servers on May 15th, 2009.
