CO₂ Emissions across the Supply Chain
Scope 3 CO₂ emissions in FY2018/3 was 5820 kilotons, 1590 kilotons less than in FY2017/3.
The main factor behind the decrease is a dropping shipped hardware products (1490 kilotons less than in FY2017/3) for Category 11 (Use of sold products).
Scope 3 statistics are based on the Scope 3 Standards issued by the GHG Protocol Initiative in October 2011. These statistics have been independently verified by Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) and found to be transparent and reliable.
