From March to June 2026, members of the NEC Pro Bono Club supported the Japanese Association of Sexual Health (JASH), a certified non-profit organization (NPO), in setting up a booth at Tokyo Pride 2026, an LGBTQ+ event promoting diversity and equality. Members also provided guidance on crowdfunding in preparation for the event.
For this project, high school students and other JASH Youth members rose to the challenge of preparing to run a booth at Tokyo Pride 2026 and securing funding for it. NEC support team members worked alongside them to ensure the project's success, offering guidance on crowdfunding planning, public relations, and social media utilization.
In addition to encouraging the JASH Youth members to take initiative, NEC support team members helped create an opportunity for the approximately 250 people who visited the JASH booth over two days at Tokyo Pride 2026 to reflect on sexual health and diversity.
