On September 22, 2025, NEC joined Pro Bono Noto, a pro bono support platform for the recovery of the Noto region, jointly operated by LY Corporation (LINE Yahoo) and the Noto Public–Private Partnership Recovery Center 
(NOTORENPUKU). As the first initiative under this platform, NEC will participate in the “Reclaimed Timber Rescue” Management System Development Project, which aims to preserve and make future use of reclaimed wood from Noto. The project supports Noto Fukkō Lab, a general incorporated association working on regional revitalization.
In addition, the NEC Noto Support Team, which promotes disaster recovery initiatives across the NEC Group, hosted an internal “Pro Bono Noto” briefing session for NEC Group employees. During the session, representatives from LINE Yahoo introduced the overview of the Pro Bono Noto platform and upcoming projects, while members of the NEC Noto Support Team explained the background and purpose of NEC’s participation in the platform.
