As part of NEC's Assured Mobility solution set, UNIVERGE Mobile Client is an enhanced application that extends unified communications and IP communications features to a mobile device while allowing the user to roam on- or off-campus. The solution incorporates wireless LAN (WLAN) and cellular into a customized, user-friendly mobile format, granting businesses the ability to leverage the same productivity tools on a single device in the office or on the road.

SECURE MIGRATION TO A NEW WORLD
Started approximately three years ago in order to handle the company's IP telephony business, NEC Solutions inherited the
NEC's traditional operations and is now betting on the migration of their client base to the new technology.
The annual IDG 2007 100 Maiores TI & Telecom (100 Biggest IT & Telecom Companies) lists NEC Solutions Brasil in just sixth place among the competitors for Brazil's IP telephony market, with a revenue of 23.87 million reals for 2006. Even so, this figure represents a 145% increase compared to the previous year, ensuring a place of distinction for the company in the IP Telephony category. For Silvio Maemura, director of NEC Solutions Brasil, this second consecutive year of growth constitutes a trend that should continue in 2007.
