[CX2000 Series]
NEC provides CX2600/200 service aggregation switches that can aggregate traffic from various access lines with enhanced QoS control, and CX2200 PWE (Pseudo Wire Emulation) Gateway. The CX2600/200 series bring patented intelligence to the core of a carriers' backhaul network. Providing traffic aggregation, separation and encapsulation for multi-service traffic is realized without compromising on latency or resiliency. The CX2200/100 is a multi-service transport gateway for TDM, ATM and Ethernet backhaul, specially optimized for cell-side deployment. Paired with the CX2600 series, they ensure seamless migration from existing PDH/SDH to next-generation hybrid and all-IP on mobile backhaul networks.

Service Convergence Integrated Platform (SCI-P) is a new converged multimedia and SIP-based solution targeted to the carrier market in North America. SCI-P consolidates and leverages the comprehensive power of NEC's field-proven SIP server, and enables operators to effectively and promptly deliver value-added VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and multimedia services to create new revenues. Additionally, the new platform ensures a fast and easy migration path to an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)-based Next Generation Network (NGN), reducing the initial investment required for NGN services.
