Great features of the NV series Part 2 - no operation stoppages even in the case of failure or disaster

Cluster support

Not only the high-end model NV8200, but also NV7200 provides cluster support as its standard specification, and NV7200 is the first 4U size NAS to provide such support. This will enable 24/7 non-stop operations.

Data replication

The NV series use the remote inter-chassis replication function in order to guarantee high-end business operations. When data is updated in a production model NAS, data becomes updated in a remote NAS accordingly. It is possible to have multiple remote locations for this purpose.

Data replication

The snapshot function

Up to the previous 255 generations of data can be managed. Since only the update data is subject to generation management, backups can be created instantly. Even if backups are made every hour from Monday to Friday, data for the past 2 weeks can be managed.

The snapshot function

Use of the phoenix technology

A disk drive with delayed responses is separated and its operation is automatically checked. If no abnormalities are found, the disk drive returns to its RAID configuration. With this technology, HDD replacement frequency was reduced by 1/3 to 1/2.
