PASOLINK NEO/a

PASOLINK NEO/a Human being communication is growing beyond spaces and times due to propagation of mobile phones. Microwave radio links provide suitable backbone network for these mobile systems. Due to network massive capacity growth, point to backbone network connection had became complexly difficult in nodal stations.
Adding or changing connections to branch station at the gathering point (Nodal station) in a cable cataract is troublesome and requires long labor hours. To alleviate these difficulties NEC has realized the smart and new Digital Cross Connect function (DXC).

The DXC function conveniently changes E1 signal (2.048 Mbps) connections. Changing E1 signals is done quickly from remote without any tool or additional materials. PASOLINK series improves capacity at field. Aim to this new technology, digital cross connect flexibility and excellent expandability are successfully achieved.
NEO/a performs the digital cross connect function for E1/ STM-1. Its cross connect function card is redundant and highly reliable.

Besides, combination of Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet card are available extending flexibility for future solutions. A pair of STM-1 (155.52Mbps) ports can be applied in one interface card as SDH ring protection.
Additionally PDH ring capability is supported as standard configuration. A total of five interface ports conceive the network configuration for various network applications.
