NEC ESMPRO Agent is a server management agent that is bundled to Express Servers. It works with Express Server hardware, monitors server status, and sends alerts when problems are detected. Alerts are recorded in event log. It is useful for quick and appropriate investigating causes and recovery works.
- CPU Loading Monitor
It monitors CPU loading, and sends alerts when problems are detected.
- Memory Error Monitor
It monitors the repetition of Correctable error and repetition of Uncorrectable error of memory, and sends alerts when errors occur.
- System Environment Monitor
When failures in temperature, voltage, fan, power supply are detected, it executes workarounds such as shutting down the system or sending alerts depending on the severity.
- Automatic Server Recovery Function
At the time of restarting after STOP error occurred, it alerts that the STOP error occurred during the previous operation. It detects CPU shortage, memory shortage, sends alerts. It monitors system stall when booting OS, running OS, shutting down OS.
- Hard Disk Protection Function
Hard disk protection function monitors hard disks to prevent the failure.
- Free Space Monitor Function
It monitors free space in file systems on local disks and prevents shortage of disk space.
- Disk Array Monitor Function
It allows protecting hard disks in disk arrays and early detection of failures.
