NEC ESMPRO Agent always monitors the every server resources, and when detecting problems, alerts the occurrence of troubles to the Manager.
NEC ESMPRO Agent has Pager Alert function as a communication method, if system administrators are in the remote location, alerts can be send to them.
For the problem alert methods from NEC ESMPRO Agent, in addition to the standard SNMP trap packet (UDP, without receipt confirmation of transmission packet), high reliability alert function (connection-oriented TCP/IP protocol, with receipt confirmation of transmission packer) can be used for high reliability trap alert.
Inter-Manager Communication allows multiple Managers to exchange information each other. Server information managed by each Manager can be aggregated to one Manager to view and manage on it.
It also enables alert forwarding, server management on large scale network can be realized by centralizing all alerts including alerts for other Managers.

In addition to the above alert functions, problems occurred on servers can be notified to system administrators by E-mail, pager, pop-up alert, and so on. Schedule and number of retry can be set to alert methods, and recovery program can be executed when trouble occurs.
(Above alert functions is not supported by NEC ESMPRO Agent for Linux.)
