Remote Monitoring
Highlights
The EXPRESSSCOPE Engine's remote monitoring function displays remote server status on a management PC, allowing users to analyze IPMI logs collected by the EXPRESSSCOPE Engine as well as other event logs collected from the operating system.
Server status display
- Provide a easy-to-understand view of remote server status on the management PC screen
- Displayed information includes:
- Real-time status of all physical LEDs equipped on the servers' control panels
- Status of virtual LCD monitors provided for the servers
System event log display
- Provide IPMI logs and the details of each log for diagnosis, including the definition of each log and the likely source of an event
Management software: NEC ESMPRO Manager/Agent
- Enable users to control physically distributed servers from a single management PC
- ESMPRO Manger-installed in the management PC to provide a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for efficient server monitoring
- ESMPRO Agent-installed in remote servers to detect system failures and automatically send an alert to the management PC (ESMPRO Manager). In the event of a failure, an icon on the status monitoring screen changes its color to alert users to a failed server or component.
