NEC DianaScope

Overview

DianaScope is virtual management software product aimed at reducing administration and maintenance costs through remote control over multiple servers.

• Server management and maintenance from a web browser
• OS-independent system operation. You may choose Windows or Linux.
• Scheduled operation and remote control of grouped servers.

Key Benefits

• In case the managed server fails, information associated with a failure can be retrieved from a remote web browser. Maintenance activities for restore are executed from a remote location, while reducing the time and labor for maintenance.
• The managed server status is available to view on a remote web browser. The managed server display can also be controlled from a remote console. This saves the IT staff the time to visit the site.
• Group-basis remote control over several servers allows consolidated system management and operational cost reduction in a large-scale server environment.
• Operation can be scheduled for each server group, even in the environment with no UPS enabled, for efficient server administration.

How to confirm DianaScope Version

Components	Procedures
DianaScope Manager	Login into DianaScope, and then click "About DianaScope" menu on header menu. In case of Windows, open "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove Program". And then select "support information" in DianaScope.
DianaScope Agent Windows	Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "DianaScope Agent". Click an icon located left of title bar in dialog. Select " About DianaScope Agent". On remote PC, login into DianaScope, and then select "Server Properties" -> "Information" of the server.
DianaScope Agent Linux	Perform the following commands. cd /usr/DianaScopeSysman ./agentconf On remote PC, login into DianaScope, and then select "Server Properties" -> "Information" of the server.
DianaScope Agent for 320Fa	Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "DianaScope Agent". Click an icon located left of title bar in dialog. Select " About DianaScope Agent". On remote PC, login into DianaScope, and then select "Server Properties" -> "Information" of the server.
DianaScope PXE Service	Version is shown in installation.
DianaScope Configuration	Select "Start" -> "Programs" -> "DianaScope Configuration" -> "DianaScope Configuration". Click an icon located left of title bar in dialog. Select " About DianaScope Configuration".
NEC ESMPRO Manager Association	Open "Control Panel" -> "Add/Remove Program". And then select "support information" in DianaScope ESMPRO/ServerManager Relation.
