Disable EDAC modules. EDAC module will prevent hardware from collecting IPMI logs which is necessary for hardware support.(*2)
- Add following sentences to /etc/modprobe.conf.
install *_edac /bin/true
install edac_* /bin/true
- Restart the Operation System.
- Check that string "edac" is not shown in the result of lsmod.
On x86 system, there is a possibility that the boot drive dose not be recognized intermittently during boot process. Please obtain the update kernel 2.6.16.60-0.39.3 from the Novell, Inc. and apply to evade this problem.
