  1. Extract this file and change to following directory.
    # cd RHEL5_x86/driver ( if x86 system )
    # cd RHEL5_EM64T/driver ( if x86_64 system )

  2. Install KMP package.
    In case Kernel version is 2.6.18-128.el5
    # rpm -ivh --nosignature megaraid_sas/kmod-megaraid_sas-00.00.04.01n-RH1.*.rpm

    In case Kernel version is 2.6.18-128.el5PAE
    # rpm -ivh --nosignature */*-PAE-*.rpm

    In case Kernel version is 2.6.18-128.el5xen
    # rpm -ivh --nosignature */*-xen-*.rpm

  3. Install KMP common packages.
    # rpm -ivh --nosignature */*noarch.rpm

  4. Restart the Operation System.

Disable EDAC modules. EDAC module will prevent hardware from collecting IPMI logs which is necessary for hardware support.
  1. Add following sentences to /etc/modprobe.conf.
    install *_edac /bin/true
    install edac_* /bin/true
  2. Restart the Operation System.
  3. Check that string "edac" is not shown in the result of lsmod.
