This System BIOS (SBR20.86B.0073.P14.0311131356) and BMC firmware (0113) update
modules (hereinafter called "this software") are programmed allow the following
functional reinforcement of NEC Express5800/120Lg.

- Intel(R) Xeon(TM) 3.2GHz 1M L3 cache Processor support.
- New microcode update.
- Memory degration by incorrect detection of the DIMM error in POST.
- Intel(R) Xeon(TM) Processor D1 Stepping support.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 support

Remarks: To use Microsoft Windows Server 2003, read thoroughly the Implementing
Manual located in the NEC Express5800 Series Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Information pages prior to installation, so that no erroneous operation will be
conducted.

<Notes>
Incorrect update operations may cause a system start failure. Read this
explanation thoroughly, until fully understanding the correct system update
procedures. If an unexpected problem arises (e.g., power failure, lightning,
shutdown, or noise) during the data rewrite process, a system malfunction or
the power supply loss may occur, resulting in equipment damaged, which may
cause the equipment to fail or operate incorrectly. In such a case, repair
expenses may be charged to the customer.
