3.Does NEC have ISO 14001 certification?

A: In 1998, NEC has achieved ISO 14001 certification at our domestic manufacturing subsidiaries ahead of our competitors. NEC has been encouraging the achievement of ISO 14001certification for its overseas manufacturing subsidiaries and non-manufacturing domestic service subsidiaries since fiscal 1999.

A: NEC has implemented a recycling system based on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) principle that starts with the design of a product, and applies to manufacturing, sales and recovery for re-use as new resource.
