NEC has delivered digital TV networks to broadcasters throughout Europe since the very first deployments in the mid 1990s. Today we serve about a third of the market for digital transmitters (DVB). High reliability and low maintenance are the two main reasons NEC's transmitters are known and respected throughout the global broadcast community. Another milestone came in early 2006 when brand new software was released to a provide support for mobile TV: DVB-H.
