Secure Systems
Cyber-physical systems (CPS) integrate and analyze real-world data collected by all kinds of terminals and devices to create new knowledge and contributing this back to the real world in the form of services. As real-world data include highly confidential information and sensitive information involving privacy issues, such data must be managed with due consideration to security, such as information leak prevention measures. Further, through integration and analysis, real-world data becomes even more sensitive, making it important to also take the viewpoint of the protection of privacy.
To successfully address these issues, we are conducting research and development of the following technologies.
- Data protection technology This technology robustly protects data that passes through CPS through advanced encryption technology that meets various system requirements. * Click here for an explanation of NEC’s encryption and encoding technology.
- Security maintenance technology This technology automatically maintains the security level of the data centers, IPv6/IPv4 networks, terminals, and devices that make up CPS.
