Knowledge Discovery Research Laboratories
The challenge of developing realize various applications that contributes to society by importing an enormous amount of data from the real world and using cloud computing in cyberspace is currently underway. Such a system that links the cyber world and the real world is called a cyber-physical system (CPS).
We believe that the nature of cyber-physical systems is to handle real-world data not yet in the cloud and create new "knowledge" from the collected data and feed it back to the real world.
At Knowledge Discovery Research Laboratories, we focus on the following research and development technologies.
- Engine technologies for generating knowledge
- Development and operation technologies of cloud services and high-quality and secure solutions.
We aim for the creation of “an information society friendly to humans and the Earth” by overcoming technical challenges on the way to developing CPSs.
