Mission
To expand and further strengthen the cloud service business deployed by the NEC Group, the Information and Media Processing Laboratories are cultivating media processing technologies to extract valuable information from various real-world signals for linking them to cloud services.
In order to process and understand media information, which will greatly increase in the future, we conduct research and development of real world interfaces, video and image understanding, speech and audio understanding.
For over 30 years already, NEC has been advocating the concept of “C & C”, the integration of computer and communications, and through information and media processing technologies, we contribute to the creation of an affluent society in which human qualities are given full play, by creating new information value, realizing the cloud with C & C, and helping the world’s people deepen their understanding of each other.
