Quality degradation analysis for large-scale networks

Biography

Mr. Kobayashi

Name

Masayoshi Kobayashi
Assistant Manager, System Platforms Research Laboratories

For over two years, he has been engaging in network quality research and fault detection research. From the beginning, he had a keen interest in fault detection on networks and computers. He also feels this is a very fulfilling field of work.

For fun at home he likes to do puzzles and tsume shogi (Japanese chess problems), which are both mental games analogous to fault detection on a network. On weekends, he likes the outdoors, especially riding his road bicycle. Sometimes he rides for a couple hundred kilometers a day. So he tries to shatter the image of a typical researcher by staying strong in mind and body.
